Why Private?
Most public lessons cost anywhere from $100 – $115 for 12 lessons, which is about $9.00 per lesson. HOWEVER, in a typical swimmer class size of 6 students, students can receive a maximum of 5 minutes of attention per 30 min lesson, which comes out to $1.80/min. With our lessons, students have our full attention for the entire 30 min class, providing much more support at an efficient price of $1.50/min. Receiving constant, accurate feedback makes a huge difference in both learning speed & depth. When trying something scary and new like swimming, being ignored by your instructor will not help in developing a healthy relationship with the water. Everyone wants to learn with an instructor that is fully present, passionate about their progression, and is there every single step of the way.

The Lifesaving Society, also known as LSS, operates as a Canadian registered charity dedicated to reducing water-related injuries across Canada. the Lifesaving Society sets the standard for aquatic safety and certifies Canada’s National Lifeguards, with tens of thousands of individual members and over 4,000 affiliated swimming pools, waterfronts, schools, and clubs. The Society’s mission encompasses preventing drowning and aquatic injuries through its training initiatives, public education campaigns, research on drowning prevention, safety management efforts, and supervision of lifesaving sports. Additionally, it stands among Canada’s five nationally recognized first aid training organizations, alongside the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, and the Canadian Ski Patrol.
Location
Lessons are taught just outside of Tottenham, near the corner of 10th Sideroad & 3rd line. The rural area provides a nice private learning spot, surrounded by pretty greenery and flowers.
